Happy New Years everyone! Time to kick off the New Years with an update on my Planet Coaster Las Vegas Strip build! I’ve been busy, taking advantage of the holidays and time off from work to put in some time on the build, and it’s coming along better than I expected! Recent additions to the build are Caesar’s Palace which I have about 80% completed so far and the Cromwell which is around 90%. I have a tendency to jump around a lot and build here and there as you’ve probably noticed by now.
I also reworked all of the sidewalks as you’ll see in the next update I’m going to kick out probably tomorrow on the Steam Workshop. The streets have also been reworked a bit on the North side of the strip and the center separators are in place now. I worked on that while watching that new movie The Accountant with Ben Affleck. Pretty decent flick. I was impressed. When the update comes out you’ll also notice that I’ve mapped out quite a few more resorts including Treasure Island, The Mirage, The Linq and the Flamingo. I also fiddled around a bit with The Paris and Ballys. Paris is turning out to be the most difficult of the build so far. I keep putting it off, but will need to tackle it eventually. lol
The High Roller, the giant 580 foot tall ferris wheel at the Linq is also in place now. It is the tallest ferris wheel in the world. The real one here in Vegas instead of “cars” has what they call “Pods”. The are enclosed and actually pretty big with each pod being able to hold around 40 people. Some of the pods even have a bar with a bartender!
Anyway, here are some screencaps of the recent work. Keep checking back here for more on the build! I appreciate all of the support and nice comments you guys have been sending me. It’s fun motivation! For all of my Planet Coaster coverage you can go here. Leave your thoughts, ideas and suggestions in the comments below.

Oh, and I have a fun idea for the entrance I think that I may try. I’ve been trying to come up with a fun idea for the entrance for a while now and think that I’ve got it. I’ll let you guys in on it soon. Until next time, stay out of trouble and thanks for stopping by!
