And it is once again time for another update on my Planet Coaster Las Vegas Strip build! I’ve been busy with work the last week, but have had some time in the evenings to do a little bit of work on the build. I finally started to implement the park entrance. I put a lot of thought into this part of the park. What would make an appropriate entrance to the Las Vegas Strip? Why the airport of course! But my problem was McCarran International Airport actually lies to the east of the strip and the park entrance on the west side, so I had to come up with a way to keep the realism while getting peeps over there. So I came up with an initial entrance of a “Travel Agency”, and then take the peeps underground and have them exit at the airport on the other side of the map! It actually looks pretty cool and works. The travel agency and airport are merely roughed in at this point so don’t hold them to too high of a standard. lol
On top of that, I’ve been able to get some work done on three more casino resorts… The Mirage, The Flamingo and Treasure Island. They are all at around 70% done for the time being. I spent most of my free time working on the pirate show in front of Treasure Island and the volcano in front of The Mirage. Both came out pretty good and I’m stoked at how they look. Hopefully I’ll have more free time this week to knock some more off of the build. Also, I’m looking at maybe putting this build on hold for a bit so I can work on a couple pimped out themed roller coaster rides. There are so many inspirational rides I’m seeing on YouTube recently, I really want to get in on that single ride aspect rather that an entire park build.
So, that’s that! I’m looking to have an update to the Steam Workshop file of this Las Vegas build in the upcoming days so keep an eye out for that. Also, one last thing… I wanted to put this punk bitch Hazuki on blast for taking other people’s work and reposting it as his own on the workshop (including my own). Just a quick word from me to him… Fuck you! Fuckin thief… Taking credit for other people’s work. Such a cunt move.
