Yo yo! So I’ve spent the last week working on a new mega park in Planet Coaster and it is coming along splendidly! My plan is to recreate a real place and then build a park around it. That real place is still a secret for the time being, but let me assure you, you’ve never seen anything like it so far in others Planet Coaster builds. I think this may be my theme moving forward… Recreating real places that would be so much cooler with a theme park surrounding them. Planet Coaster beat me to the punch with the Mount Rushmore park in the beta, but I’m gonna try to do them one better.
I’ve got about 50 hours in the build so far. It’s a lot more complex then I thought it would be. I think it is easier to make things out of your imagination than to try to recreate something that already exists using the limited tools in the game. Trying to hit some specific details is taking much more time than I anticipated. I’ll make an announcement towards the end of this next week and include a few screencaps of my progress and what it is exactly that I’m building. I was going to do some YouTube videos of the build, but it is taking so long to build this up I think the videos would be pretty boring to be honest. Anyway, that’s the skinny… I’ll be back soon!
