Welcome back guys and today I’m starting a new series I’m calling “Real World Builds” for Planet Coaster. Today’s iconic structure I’ve built for you guys to use in your parks is the Guggenheim Museum in New York City located just off of the east side of Central Park. The building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1959. It houses some of the world’s most famous art pieces by artists including Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Édouard Manet and many more. It was built as close to scale as I could get it.
Unfortunately, I had to sacrifice a few roof details in order to keep the blueprint under the allowed 2000 pieces. I also had to reduce the size of the spire/dome just a tiny bit in order to save on a few pieces. In addition, some windows were replaced with black tiles. The blueprint consists of the max allowed – 2000 pieces. I wanted to be able to submit this as a building and not as a park so it is what it is. This build took about 12 hours over the course of 4 days.
You can grab it on the Steam Workshop here. It was uploaded as a building and not as a park so feel free to use it in your own Planet Coaster creations. Just be sure to give me credit if you reupload to the Steam Workshop.
If you guys have any ideas for famous buildings you would like to see me try and build, just leave it in the comments!
Be sure to check out all of my other Planet Coaster coverage here. I’ll leave you with some screenshots of the build.
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll catch you all soon. Stay out of trouble!!!
